  "lineage": "Nyanga is the panpipe dance of the Nyungwe people of Tete province in the Zambezi valley of Mozambique: a large group of men, each playing a set of a few reed pipes, dance in a circle while their notes interlock in hocket and their voices join the pipes. Andrew Tracey recorded it for the International Library of African Music and analysed it in the journal African Music; the ngororombe panpipe dance of north-eastern Zimbabwe is a closely related practice.
