  "lineage": "Bangzi clapper opera of central Shanxi, also called Zhonglu bangzi, which grew out of Puzhou bangzi in the Qing dynasty around Taiyuan and the Jinzhong merchant towns and spread with Shanxi traders and migrants to Inner Mongolia, northern Shaanxi and Hebei; it entered China's national intangible heritage list in 2006. Its string section is led by the 'four great pieces': the huhu bamboo-tube lead fiddle (the erhu card stands in), the erguxian fiddle (the banhu card stands in), sanxian and the four-string sihu (no card here), while drum, bangzi woodblock clappers (the paiban card stands in), cymbals and gongs mark the beat types and the stage action.",
