Juré was unaccompanied singing for dancing, a leader answered by a group over handclaps and stamping feet, recorded by John and Alan Lomax in 1934 around Jennings; la-la was the Creole house-dance music in which a single-row diatonic accordion and fiddle played two-steps, waltzes and bluesy reels over a scraped rubboard, kept up into the late 20th century by the accordionist Alphonse 'Bois Sec' Ardoin and the fiddler Canray Fontenot. The Cajun-accordion card stands for this single-row diatonic button accordion, an instrument Creole and Cajun musicians share.", "recipe": "classic mid-1930s juré and la-la, drone Modal, string
