"description": "Seven independently tuned strings on a fretted acoustic guitar, used in Russian and Russian Romani performance. Open-chord tuning supports bass notes, melody and chordal variation. The contemporary cedar-and-rosewood cutaway model preserves its distinctive seven-string configuration rather than treating it as a six-string classical guitar.",
